A pioneer in the field of Earth Spirit Living, Ann Marie Holmes (Hawaii) explains how our living and working environments impact us, how to recognize the subtle clues coming from nature about our built environment, and how to reclaim our senses to decipher the energy around us. A dynamic presenter, she speaks at conferences, appears on television and radio programs, and consults internationally with homeowners, business owners, and builders. In 1987, after being a member of the Findhorn Community in Northern Scotland then founding her own cleaning business, she discovered Feng Shui and instantly recognized a system that allowed her to express her own experiences. Sera Beak
August 29, 2008
Sera J. Beak is a Harvard trained scholar of comparative religions and mysticism and an intrepid spiritual cowgirl who’s spent the last dozen years traveling the world exploring spirituality–from whirling with Sufi dervishes to meeting the Dalai Lama on her 21st birthday; from taking the host from a Croatian Catholic mystic who had the stigmata (truly) to having life-altering visions with a shaman, and just about everything in between. She’s lived in Atlanta, Chicago, New York, Cambridge, India, Nepal, Tibet, and Turkey, and now resides in San Francisco. She’s as comfortable talking about the pagan history of religious traditions, energy healing, and esoteric metaphysics, as I am about designer jeans, sex toys, and holistic health.
Her first book, The Red Book: A Deliciously Unorthodox Approach To Igniting Your Divine Spark, was published in the summer of 2006 (Jossey-Bass). Current projects include starting a Redvolution, writing a Red series, holding Redvolution Workshops and making a Redvolution film.
